The Soulard Oktoberfest
One of St. Louis' largest and most successful charitable events
The Soulard Oktoberfest Benevolent Association, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2004 to raise funds for the benefit of Soulard area non-profit organizations and St. Louis area German cultural organizations. We are proud to report that over the past 10 years the Soulard Oktoberfest Benevolent Association, predominately through our largest event, the annual Soulard Oktoberfest, has raised over $300,000 for 22 different organizations.
In our 10 year history, Soulard Oktoberfest has grown from a few hundred people in a park (maybe a couple thousand?) into one of the St. Louis area’s largest festivals. With such growth naturally comes growing pains, like moving out of Lyon Park. If it were up to us, Soulard Oktoberfest would still be held at this fantastic location, but it is simply no longer an option. Despite having to leave such a wonderful venue behind, our new location at Lift for Life Academy allows us to provide free parking, and plenty of space for our newest addition, a carnival right on the Oktoberfest grounds. The carnival has long been a part of the traditional Oktoberfest in Munich, and now it is coming to Soulard Oktoberfest!
Not only have we added a carnival and free parking for 2014, we have reduced admission to only $5, and still have our great VIP specials (link- which you can purchase right here), along with all of the terrific German music, beer, and food that make Oktoberfest an excellent St. Louis festival.
